Just a warning… This post is full of lots and lots of pictures. I love to take pictures. This is about half of what I took with my camera. I haven’t even looked at Maw Maw’s card yet to see what’s on there. I’ll post those later.
Sweet Pea loved her new suitcase! She kept climbing on it the night before we left.
This is one of her fits she was throwing! Fussy girl!
But Daddy gave her a book and she was happy for a little while.
Woo hoo!! Tennessee!
Beautiful Smokey Mountains!
We wanted to go see the Titanic thingy, but just didn’t have time.
Our cabin was called Bear Cozy (I think?) so there were bears everywhere. I mean EVERY.WHERE! I meant to take pictures of the decor, but I never got around to it. But anyway… this bear was at the bottom on the staircase. I saw it and instantly thought that Sweet Pea would be scared of it. But she wasn’t. She climbed right up there and was just looking at it.
Just standin’ around…
Jerome
Kay and Ike swinging and holding hands! Awwww!
Alice rocking…
Sweet Pea checking everything out…
Heather braiding Danielle’s hair…
My sweet hubby manning the grill! The food was yummy!!!
Sweet Pea found some kool-aid…
I don’t know what was up with the floor in that house, but her feet were BLACK before we knew it. It was gross!!!
Heather decided to wash her feet in the sink, and it turned in to a bath…. kind of…. Haha!
Alan was playing the guitar and singing for Sweet Pea. She loooooves it!!
The men just sitting around…
Paw Paw and Sweet Pea early Saturday morning…
Gatlinburg! That the aquarium in the bottom left and then there is a house up in the mountains. I loved seeing the houses in the mountains. So cool!
The creek in front of the aquarium. They are so pretty and I just wanted to jump in!!! It was hot!
Playing around in the shops!
Danielle modeling a scarf!
Randy and Mr. Right modeling the weird masks! Haha!
Sweet Pea got tired of being in her stroller, so we got out the baby leash and let her walk some. She looks so big!
Heather and Sweet Pea looking at the horses at the Dixie Stampede.
Sweet Pea was blowing raspberries while we were waiting to go in to the Dixie Stampede. Notice the horse Papaw Ike bought her as a souvenir.
Waiting to go in to Dixie Stampede…
Sweet Pea needed a snack while we waited….
This was at the preshow. She was drinking a frozen strawberry daquiri (non alcoholic of course!)
At the preshow…
Uncle Jerome taught her how to hold her fists up. This is going to get her in trouble some day! Haha! But it is cute when she does it!
You can see Sweet Pea sitting with Ike on the left. She sat there the whole time just watching and listening to them sing. She loved it!
This was after we finally got to the Stampede room.
In the Stampede Room.
Playing putt putt golf!
Alan and Alice being goofy…
This picture cracks me up! We told them to go stand right there to get their picture made. They were like, “Why do we have to stand “right here”?” But if you look closely, there is a stork sitting right above their heads… :-) So, if the stork brings them a present in 9 months, that is going to be freaky!! Heather, it was your mom’s idea!! Haha!
My dear sweet husband was holding my purse for me while I putted, and he didn’t give it back at one point. So, I just had to snap a picture of him walking around and putting with my purse on his shoulder. Too funny!
Alice and Heather…
Danielle’s back, Sweet Pea, and Uncle Eric…
She loved being able to take a bath in the bath tub at the cabin. We don’t have a bath tub in our house. We just have a shower stall. So, Sweet Pea gets her baths in the sink. But she was really enjoying the big bath tub!
This was after bath time Sunday morning. She was so tired. The past few days had been full of early mornings and late nights… Totally off schedule for her.
Playing in her suit case…
Listening to Alan play the guitar again…
Finally, Cade’s Cove! If you look closely, you can see two turkeys in the middle of the picture.
Mountains!
Danielle and Mr. Right where hanging out the car taking pictures of each other. Haha! Keep in mind, we were only going like 5 or 10 mph.
An old cabin…
Primitive Baptist Church. They were actually about to have service right as we were leaving.
Inside the Primitive Baptist Church
The cemetery at the Primitive Baptist Church
Sweet Pea walking with the gang. Being such a big girl!
I think this was the Methodist church… We didn’t get out at all of the places because everyone was hungry and it was past lunch time… This wasn’t planned out very well… Haha.
The line of cars was going so slow at one point that Jerome got out of the van and started running by the vehicles. He was going faster than the cars! Haha!
I snapped a picture of him on the side mirror while he was hanging out the window. Again, we were only going 5 mph!
This was everyone in our vehicle! Kay, Ike, Sweet Pea, Mr. Right, and me!
Jerome hanging out of the sun roof.
Danielle hanging out of the side window!
Mr. Right and Ike trying to entertain Sweet Pea.
Some deer we saw…
More cabins…
And this is the look out that we stopped at that I forgot to put the truck in park… I’ll never forget that!!!
And finally, on our way home!!!! I was pulling stuff out of my purse to give to Sweet Pea so she would stop fussing. She likes to hold my brush.
Mr. Right driving…
Playing a game on the iPhone…
Sweet Home Alabama!!!!!
This was right about the time it started getting dark and she was about to go to sleep…
The End!!! :-)
