Easter 2011

We took Sweet Pea to see the Easter Bunny…  She had us fooled big time!  She was waving at the bunny and smiling at him and everything before we got up there.  I was so sure that she was NOT going to cry!!!!

But you see how that went…..

And I thought that if Mr. Right got in the picture with her… she might stop crying….  She stopped a little….  And I have no idea what or where my albino husband is looking!  Haha!  He needs a tan.  ;-)

Anyway.  These picture will make for some good laughs in the years to come!  :-)

Sunday morning, we went to church with my MIL… because my sweet husband turned my alarms off (yes, I set two different alarms!!!) so we missed the early service at the church we go to.

She wore her dress that I bought her last year because I had found something in her closet that she was about to outgrow (and it still had the tags on it…)  I’m glad this one still fit because it is adorbs!

Outdoorsy fun!

Today (Saturday) was so nice outside!  We definitely took advantage of it and let Sweet Pea play her little heart out!  She LOVES being outside and would stay out all day if we would let her.  She even throws tantrums sometimes when it’s time to come in….  Haha.

Someone (not sure who) got her this turtle sand box for her birthday.

She wasn’t so sure about it at first….

 

But it didn’t take her long to start digging away!

She decided to take a very short ride in her bug…

Then a little dip in the pool… unwillingly… Haha!  Mr. Right put her in there, and she was begging for him to come get her out!

Precious even got a little spray of some water to cool off…

Sweet Pea eventually decided that the pool was fun and she was getting in and out on her own…

It looks like she is about to jump in it… but she didn’t.  I’m not real sure what she was doing exactly…

We thought for a second there that she was doing “something” in the pool because she got really still and was concentrating…  But we didn’t find anything.  Haha!

She was trying to lick the water here… Ewwww…

She had a good ole time today.  And we enjoyed watching her play.  It’s hard to remember what we did to entertain ourselves before she came along!  Haha!  We love our little Sweet Pea!

(I’ve got several posts I’ve been meaning to get up on here… but I just haven’t been in the blogging mood, nor have I had the time.  I’m hoping that will change soon once I get put back on day shift and I’m on a more normal schedule.  But I’m pretty sure y’all are used to me being behind on posting… ;-)

Yesterday was Sweet Pea’s 2nd birthday party!

She has been under the weather for a while lately, so she wasn’t feeling too good.  I think she still had fun though. 

Her lady bug cake!  Mrs. Diane did a great job on it!  And it tastes as good as it looks!  Yum!!

The sidewalk chalk was a winner though!  She kept wanting to go back to it!  :-)

Gammy and PapaIke got her a swing to put up at their house.  She’s going to love that!

Nana got her a doctor kit… so she can fix her babies when she throws them across the room…  :-/

I think Joy and Ansley (they weren’t able to make it :-() got her this little Baby Alive.  Sweet Pea likes it!

Nana also got her the Hokey Pokey Elmo!  She didn’t want to have anything to do with it at the time.  It’ll grow on her.  She usually loves Elmo!  Her outfit came from this Etsy shop.

She got some money from several people.

Charli Isabella was able to come!  I was so excited!  We will be celebrating her 1st birthday in 4 short months!!!  Wow!

Time to sing Happy Birthday!!  You can tell she doesn’t feel good.  :-(  Poor sweet baby… 

Ella and Charli were checking each other out!  This was too cute!  Charli tried to take Ella’s pacifier.  And seeing the size difference between 4 months and 8 months old is so crazy!!  Ha!  They are both such cute babies!

Aunt Cherry Berry got to feed Charli some yummy ice cream!  Yep.  I’m her favorite now.  :-)

My mom took the liberty of feeding Charli some cake!  We got her all loaded up on some sugar!  Hehe!

Maw Maw, Heather, and Kay just chillin’…  Oh, and now that it has been announced on FB by Heather…. I can say that Sweet Pea is going to have a cousin in November!!  Heather and Michael are expecting!!!!!  I am beyond excited for them!!!  :-)  Another baby in the fam!

We went out to eat after the party.  Sweet Pea and Charli had to have their picture taken together before we left.

My child looks as if she is a snob in this picture… “Don’t touch me!”  HAHA!  (She takes after her mommy.  I am not a touchy feely person!!!!)

They had to give kisses before we left!  So sweet!  Best Friends!  :-)
