Merry Christmas!

Well, I would post our Christmas card so all my bloggy friends can see it… and because I can’t actually mail all of you one… (even though I would love to!)  BUT….  I don’t know how to do it and I am apparently illiterate when it comes to certain things.  Very frustrating.

I wanted to stop in and say Merry Christmas to you all!  Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!

And now I’m off to bed.  Santa just made his stop here to drop off Sweet Pea’s gifts.  She has been a very good girl this year… with the exception of a few temper tantrums…..  But hey…  we all have those days, right?!  Haha!

So, off to bed I go… I’ve got to work tomorrow, but I’m planning on getting off early so I can come home and be with my lovies!

20 Months Old!

Sweet Pea is the big 2-0!  In just 4 short months, she will be 2 years old…  Time sure has flown by because I can barely remember her being a little bitty baby.  She is looking more and more like a little girl these days.  Just see for yourself!

Random thoughts…

-Why does my child like the shows that annoy me the most?  And the one’s that I can tolerate, she won’t sit for 2 minutes watching them… 

-I need my afternoon nap on my work week.  I’m sitting here about to fall asleep sitting up because I haven’t had my nap today…. or yesterday.  But that’s my own fault I guess….

-Tomorrow is supposed to be my first off day, but I have decided to fill in.  We have had two employees quit due to better paying jobs elsewhere… so we are taking turns covering their shifts until they hire new people.  I decided to work tomorrow.  So, I’ll be working my 8th day straight and I’ll have close to 80 hours when I leave tomorrow.  *sigh*  I am going to be exhausted!….. wait…. I already am!  But on the bright side… I get to sleep until 6 tomorrow morning since I have to be there at 8.

-Sweet Pea is talking really well now.  She can say so many words and repeats everything we say.  It’s so cute.

-I’m so excited about Christmas this year.  I think Sweet Pea is going to be happy with her gifts.  This is the first time in a gazillion years that I have been excited about Christmas.

-I’m having my wisdom teeth taken out on Friday.  This was a last minute thing.  I have been wanting them removed for a long time… like 10 years I’m talkin’… but I have been too scared to do it.  But…… I really want them gone.  So… I made a phone call today and got it set up so it will be done before the year is up and our insurance starts over.  Anywho.  I’m nervous.

-I just realized that Friday is our Christmas thingy with Mr. Right’s family.  I’m going to be drugged up from pain meds and I’m not going to be able to eat anything good.  CRAP!!!!!!!

-Why do I always remember that I need to go do something/run an errand as I’m pulling in to my drive way???  And then I am so close to my couch/bed that I don’t want to turn around and run that errand… therefore it gets put off…..  That has happened a lot lately and it’s frustrating.

-The past few mornings when I have been leaving for work… it’s been cold enough to freeze snot (as my husband would say).  But I like the cold weather.  Oh, it snowed here a little the other day.  It didn’t stick, but we had some flurries.  I love snow!

-I had big plans for making our house look like the Griswold’s from Christmas Vacation.  Haha!  But it never happened.  I thought it would be funny to do and easy… considering our house is small and it wouldn’t take much time or effort.  I just never got around to doing it…

-I thought we were going to freeze this winter because I figured we wouldn’t be able to use our gas heater, but Sweet Pea has been really good about it.  She knows that it is hot and that she isn’t supposed to get near it.  So, we aren’t going to freeze.  :-)

-And last, but not least… Sweet Pea is the big 2-0 today.  :-(  20 months old, that is…..  She’s growing up too fast.  April will be here before we know it and she will be 2 years old.  Which reminds me…. I need to start planning the birthday party!  AHHHH!!!!  Didn’t I just do this like… yesterday????  It sure seems like it!  I need some ideas on birthday themes!!!

This wonderful picture of us was taken by…. me…. or I guess you could say it took itself considering I made Mr. Right go buy a tripod and I set the timer.  Ha!

But anywho…  Here is our picture we used for our Christmas card that haven’t even been sent out yet…

Slacker…

As of right now, I have 145 blog posts that I haven’t read…  Granted… some of those I probably won’t read anyway because I just can’t get certain blogs off my feed, but still…  That’s A LOT to be behind on reading.  Haha! 

I just don’t even feel like doing anything lately.  This past week (my off week), I have gone to bed at 8ish every night with Sweet Pea.  Usually, I take the laptop in the bedroom with me and after I get her to sleep, I’ll stay up a little while and read or blog or watch my shows or play on Facebook.  But the past two off weeks, I haven’t felt like doing anything but sleeping and spending time with my family. 

And I never “write” on my blog anymore.  I used to actually write stuff… other than captions for pictures…  Here lately I’ve noticed that all I have been doing is posting a ton of pictures and just putting captions for them. 

I want to get back to writing some…  Even if it is just “mommy” stuff and telling about our days.  That’s the whole point of a journal, right?  Well… this blog is my journal… my scrapbook.

So anyway… I’m going to try to get a little better about posting more often and doing more writing.

I’m going to try to stop being such a blog slacker…

November camera pictures…

I actually didn’t take a lot of pictures in November.  There are 236 in my folder.  That’s nothing for me!  Ha!

If I had actually taken pictures on Thanksgiving… I took NONE… ZERO!… I would probably have a whole lot more.  But anyway…

Maybe this will catch me up…  (and forgive me if I post pictures that I’ve already posted…in earlier posts!  I’m too lazy to go back and check and it’s 2:30 in the morning right now…)

I just love that kissy face!

This was the sweetest thing.  She and I were sitting on the couch and I told her to come take a picture with Mommy.  She leaned in to me and smiled just as big as you please!  It was so precious!

Oh, and I could have totally cropped out my no-make-up-wearing-self, but even though I look horrible, I thought these were cute pictures of us.

She is such a messy little eater.  And yes, that is baby food…  I have to get her veggies in her some how!!  Otherwise, it would be french fries and crackers 24/7!  Oh… and cookies.

 

If I hadn’t bought that shopping cart for her a couple of months ago, the child wouldn’t have anything to play with.  Haha!  She pushes that thing all over the house all the time!  And I love how her hair is flipping out in this picture.  Too cute!

Precious and Sweet Pea have been loving each others company!  They are so funny playing together.  Sweet Pea loves to steal her toy from her and go running through the house with it.  Of course, Precious chases her and gets it back.  They are too funny.

I believe these next pictures were supposed to be for her 19 Month post… that I never posted.  I know…. bad mother….  But oh well.  They were taken on the 18th instead of the 14th because I always happen to be working on the 14th and I just don’t feel like coming home, bathing her and getting her dressed up cute to take pictures right after I get off work.

So anyway… Here is the best picture I could get of her.  She wasn’t being very cooperative and this is the only picture I could get of her smiling… and it’s a funny crooked fake smile…  Haha.

She is fascinated with my ear phones.  She thinks she is supposed to chew on them… umm… yuck!  But I explained to her that they go in your ears to hear music!

I seriously can’t keep her out of this cage!!!  AHHHH!!!  She is constantly climbing in there.
