Birthday invitation!

I assume that everyone I sent an invitation to has received it by now… so I won’t be spoiling anything.

I’m just giddy at how cute it turned out, so I wanted to share it with y’alll!!!

I took the picture myself out in the yard.  I’m a little biased, but I think she is just adorbs!!!

I have to find someone to make her cake.  I wish I could do it myself, but I don’t have the time to practice making it (I’m a perfectionist when it comes to SOME things).

We have 2 weeks until her birthday party and we still have to go buy her gift.  I’m excited about that too!!!

Can’t wait for all of this!

Today is the first day I’ve cried…

…since Sweet Pea has been going to preschool.

I didn’t even tear up on her first day of preschool!!!!  Mr. Right did though!!!

But today I cried when I left because she hasn’t been feeling well (she’s kind of sick right now) and she was just screaming for me as I was walking away.  I know she just wanted her mommy to hold her and love on her.

It broke my heart!!!!  I felt like such a horrible parent.

I cried about half way home and I told myself that she would be fine.

And she is.  I just pulled up the camera at the daycare and she is down walking around/playing with the other kids.

So, now that I can see she is fine and having fun, I’m going to crawl in bed and catch some zzzzz’s until time to go pick her up. 

And then back to work tonight for my last shift of my work week!  Wooty woot woot!

Annoying phase…

Ok, so…  Sweet Pea is about to drive me up the wall!!

She has been going through this phase of spitting out chewed up food.  She does this with just about everything.  Even foods that she likes!!!!!  I thought that maybe she was putting too much food in her mouth, but even when I give her small bites, she still does it.

This. Is. So. Annoying.

It’s embarrassing too when we go out to eat!!

When she first started doing it (a month or two ago) we would say NO! or STOP! thinking she would just go ahead and swallow it…  But nope…  It doesn’t matter what we say or do.  She continues to spit it out.

I’ve given up.  I just don’t even acknowledge that she is doing it anymore.

I wish this phase would end….. like NOW!!!!

(I’ve googled this issue, and all I can get out of it is…. “it’s a phase”…  Thanks… You are so much help Dr. Google…)

23 Months Old!

It’s hard to believe that in one month my little baby will be 2 years old!!!  She is growing up way to fast!!  See for yourself!

She loves to jump on anything… bed… couch… anything bouncy!

She was hiding from me…. or the camera…

Daddy is her favorite right now… literally!  She doesn’t want me to do anything for her… if I try to help her or do anything for her… she starts whining and says “daddy!”  Spoiled rotten!

(Mr. Right is going to kill me for posting this picture of him in his hol(e)y pants…  But if he would actually wear the new pj pants I buy him… he wouldn’t have this problem.  :-)

 

She such a little girl now!  It brings tears to my eyes because my baby is growing up…  :-(  I’m really enjoying this age though… minus the temper tantrums when she doesn’t get what she wants…  We just love her so much and are so blessed!!!!

She brought home her first painting from school!  Isn’t it beautiful?!  I think we may have an artist in the fam!

 

My little cool chick!  I have been teaching her to say that she’s a cool chick when she puts her sunglasses on.  Haha!

I love the little curls in the back of her hair.  Of course, it only does like this when she has been sweating or it’s wet….

I tried putting her hair in a ponytail the other night and it was just too cute!!  Her hair is getting so long and it seems like its growing over night!  Oh… how do you like my husband passed out in the background….??  HAHA!

One of her favorite things to do now is to dump out all of her balls in the floor… 

I came in from work one morning and they were still sound asleep.  I like to take pictures of them sleeping… I guess I’m just weird… but they look so sweet!

 

The other night, Sweet Pea was playing with her ball pit and she was standing on the side holding on the the top and she fell back taking it with her…  It was the funniest thing to watch!!  She just kind of layed there in shock… like… “What just happened?!”  And I was laughing so hard!!!

Our first daycare injury…

Well… I knew it would happen eventually…

A couple of weeks ago, I picked Sweet Pea up from school and she had been bit. 

On the nose!

Now, why the nose???  I hear of kids being bit all the time, and it’s usually on the arm or shoulder or where ever… but my child just had to be bit on the nose…

(She’s eating her “logurt” bites… aka… yogurt bites…)

 

 

 

 

Of course, it doesn’t look that bad in the pictures, but in person, it looked like it hurt!  It was pinkish/reddish for a few days.  And she had a little scab on it where I guess the skin broke a little…  But all is well now.

I was frustrated about it, but like I said… I knew it was going to happen eventually.  I just hope she doesn’t start biting!!!!

Sweet Pea and Charli

A few weeks ago, we had a quick visit with Maranda and Charli.  I just can’t wait for Charli to get a little bigger… like crawling or walking…  Our girls are going to have so much fun playing together!

This is just priceless!!!!  I don’t even remember why they were crying…  But it was hilarious for me and Maranda!

Maranda was getting ready for work and she was showing Sweet Pea how to put on make up…  Sweet Pea… don’t listen to her!!!!  ;-)

We had to stop at GiGi’s Cupcakery before we left town.  Oh. My. Goodness.  They didn’t have all of what I wanted (they ran out of some and didn’t have them ready when I went in…)  But my fav out of all of these is the Banana Creme Pie (I think that’s what it was called) and the Boston Creme Pie!  Delish!  I have been back a time or two since then… and they just keep getting better!  I guess it’s a good thing I live an hour away or else I would be in big trouble…

Pictures from Mr. Right’s doctor’s appointment in February.  Sweet Pea had to show out in the waiting room, as usual.

My purse weighs as much, or more, than she does!  Ha!

We had to give her a snack to get her to sit still.  She was wanting to run EVERY WHERE!

We bought a new entertainment center/tv table.  Sweet Pea was trying to help her daddy put it together.  You can’t tell in the picture, but he was getting frustrated with her picking up all the screws and moving them…  Haha!  I thought it was cute though… her helping.  :-)

Sweet Pea and Herbird (my dad… that’s his nickname for her).  We met him in T-town so I could get my iPhone back.  (My mom had to work on it because it was giving me problems and I NEED it to last a few more months until I can upgrade.)  We met at IHop to have brunch.  This was the best picture I could get because she was being uncooperative…

Later that afternoon, we were playing outside because it was so nice.  I caught her drinking in the bushes….  Haha!

A few days later, it was nice again… so we let her run around outside before supper.  She was tearing up Maw Maw’s tulip tree!

My graceful child took a fall on the sidewalk…  She never cried though.  I was sure she has busted her chin though.  But nope…. nothing!  Thank goodness!  She kind of just rocked back and forth on her belly for a minute.

My bad dog…. and I say that and mean it!!!!  She is BAD!!!!!!
