Top 2 Tuesday!

This week is Top 2 things I couldn’t live without!  As usual, this is kind of hard to do because there are a lot of things I think I can’t live without…but I’ll give you the top 2…

I cannot live without…

1.    My family.  I don’t know what I would do without them.  They really complete me!!!

2.  My phone.  I can call people, text people, surf the web, take pictures, play games, pay bills, listen to music… You  name it!  I love my iPhone!

 

Of course, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t list a few more things… haha!  I guess my number one should have been GOD!  He is #1!  And if I’m referring to material things that I cannot live without…. a vehicle (because I hate to walk or run and wouldn’t want to do that everywhere I go), a bed (because I’m a sleepaholic), chocolate (because I’m a chocoholic), a home (because I like to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer and dry when it rains)...  Those are just a few…  ;-) 

Top 2 Tuesday!

I loooooove picking out baby names!  And.... I'm a baby name stealer!  I admit it...  I'll also admit that I have an ongoing list in my phone that I always add names to.  If I see (on a blog) or hear a name I like, I will add it to the list so I will have a good selection when it comes time for baby number 2.  So... picking 2 names is going to be really hard!!!  I might just bend the rules a little and use more than 2...  

Oh... I also like movie and book names..... 

Girl Names:

  1.  Sidda (from The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood)

  2.  Brigitta (from The Sound of Music)

Boy Names:

  1.  Raine

  2.  Ramey (from a Nora Roberts book...I think...)

Boy OR Girl Names:

  Kellen/Kellan, Saige/Sage, Mabry, Blain(e), Arley/Arlee/Arleigh

I guess that is enough....  Haha.  As you can see, I like "different" names with "different" spellings.  

Sweet Pea's name is a little different.  It is a family name that we changed up a bit.  Vivi.anne Gr.ace is her name.  Vivian is a name used on both sides of our family and Anne is used on my side, so we combined them and made it her own.  We changed the spelling and pronunciation and made it "different".  I love her name.  We call her Gr.ace.  And at the time, I didn't know many people with children named Gr.ace.  But...of course.... after she was born, it seems like there were Gr.ace's coming out of the woodwork!!!  I probably know of at least 15 people with babies/children named Gr.ace!  It makes me want to change her name!  Haha!  I just don't want her to be one of 10 (or more) kids in her class that has the same name!  

Oh well......  I still love it...  

Top 2 Tuesday: Favorite TV shows!

I was so excited when I saw that this week is Favorite TV shows because this is sooooo easy!  

1.  Grey's Anatomy!  I have been watching this for years!  Not since the first season, but I have Netflixed the one's I missed and I can say that I have seen just about every single episode.  I love this show!!!  I could watch reruns of it all day and all night!!  My all time fav!

2.  Desperate Housewives!  This is a very close runner up, but it's #2 on my list.  I started watching this about the same time I started watching Grey's, but I haven't gone back and watched from the 1st season.  But I will one day...  

Some others that I love are Private Practice, Brothers and Sisters, CSI: Las Vegas.

Top 2 Tuesday: Dream Vacations

Are you ready for Top 2 Tuesday?!  

This week Taylor is doing top 2 dream vacations.  And boy do I need one!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first choice is the beach.

 I love the beach!  That may seem weird to some of you that know me because y'all know that I love the winter time.  I hate being hot and I really hate sweating.  But there is just something about the beach that I love.  I guess it's the peace.  It's so relaxing and peaceful.  I love the smell of the beach air, I love the sound of the waves and watching them crash against the shore....  Ugh... I wish I was in Gulf Shores right now!!

And my second choice is going to New York City.

I have never been.  All the years I lived in Baltimore, MD, I never went.  We made plans to go several times when I lived up there, but we never made it.  I secretly want to move to NYC, but I know that will never happen.  So, vacationing there will have to fill that void.  Haha.

Top 2 Tuesday...

Taylor @ Jimmy Choos & a Baby Too! does Top 2 Tuesday.  This week is Top 2 Dream Jobs.  I thought I would join in...  

Well, some of you may know that I have always wanted to be a SAHM.  I am for the time being and I think it is the best job out there!!!!  I wish I could keep it forever!  But unfortunately, I will eventually have to get a "real job" before too long....  *sigh* *grumble*

I tend to not stick to the same things for a long time, so my dream job changes with the wind...  But if I had to choose 2 jobs right now (other than phlebotomy), I would say...

1.  A cake decorator/baker...  I'm stuck on researching how to decorate cakes and how to bake them with the different colors on the inside and it is just really cool!  I've always enjoyed baking and I just think it would be a fun job....

2.  A hair stylist...  Ever since I was in high school, I've been interested in cosmetology.  I'm actually on a waiting list right now for a beauty academy in our area.  I just hope we can afford for me to go when the time comes...??  And I figured, if I became a hair stylist, I could eventually work from home, if I build up enough clientele....

Actually, both of those dream jobs could be done from home.....
