I went to the doctor today. I’m 35 weeks and 5 days. I’m 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Yesterday when I woke up I was feeling more pressure than usual. When I put my shirt on to go to work, I looked down and I wondered where my belly went… I looked in the mirror and I thought I might have dropped some. That might explain the extra pressure feeling I was having.??? So….. I decided to wear the same outfit to the doctor today that I wore a few weeks ago when I took a picture of my belly. I just wanted it to be accurate… And then they just so happen to put me in the same room. Ha! If only I had stood in the same exact spot…. Oh well.
The picture on the left is from 32 weeks and 6 days. The picture on the right is from 35 weeks and 5 days (today).
What do you think??? Dropped much…
Can you spy Sweet Pea in the right picture?
October 24th, we had a play date with Charli and Maranda. We played around the house while Maranda got ready to go.
Sweet Pea and Charli sharing some puffs… Or shall I say, Sweet Pea hogging the puffs…
Charli was giving some funny looks that day. I was cracking up at her. I tried to catch some on camera, but this is about as good as it gets.
This picture is funny to me… Sweet Pea is laying in the floor turning up the puffs and Charli is just chillin’ over there…
Charli has this little mummy that dances and sings Thriller… It was too funny watching them with that thing. They were both mesmerized by it.
Sweet Pea wanted to sit in Charli’s lap at one point…
We went upstairs to Charli’s bedroom to get her dressed. I left the room for just a minute to empty my bladder…. and this is what I came back to… It doesn’t take these girls long to destruct…
We finally got out of the house, ate lunch at one of my favorite places… City Cafe… and then went to the mall.
The girls were pretty good so we treated them with a cookie. (It was a bribe too…. Sweet Pea wouldn’t use the public bathroom because she is scared of the loud flushing toilets… So, I had to bribe her with a cookie to get her to pee!)
Sweet Pea sharing her cookie with Charli… How sweet!
Pretty girls!
Sweet Pea was not wanting to share her drink though…
She was telling Charli “No.” at this point. Haha! We are working on this!!!!
That evening, we went trick or treating on Sorority Row at the university. We had never been before, so we gave it a try. There were kids everywhere!! So packed! It was fun though. And Sweet Pea enjoyed it.
My little lady bug!
Charli was a candy corn witch (her mom says she was just a witch… her costume just so happened to look like a candy corn… but I say Candy Corn Witch! :-) So precious!
Sweet Pea was so excited about seeing the “ephant” Big Al. She even told a random stranger “Roll Tide!” But when Daddy and Sweet Pea went up to have their picture made with Big Al, she started crying and was scared. She wouldn’t even show her face. She had her hands covering up her eyes. BUT as so as they walked off, she dried it up and was talking about the “ephant” again. Haha! Crazy kid.
Charli was getting a little fussy at that point. She had not really had much of a nap all day, and she was not liking that hat at all.
Of course, I had to try and get a picture of them together in their costumes. They were just too cute.
And that was about it… Sweet Pea walked off after that one.
This picture was taken at 31 weeks and 6 days.
I was at the doctor’s office and I took advantage of having the huge mirror on the back of the door. :-)
I’ll have a few 4D pictures of Baby Boy up soon. He’s so precious!
And I have a quick question… Did any of you mother’s out there experience a menstrual cramp feeling in your tummy toward the end of pregnancy?? I did not experience this at all with Sweet Pea. I asked Dr. Google what it was, and it says contractions….??? But it just doesn’t seem like that is what a contraction should feel like (it definitely doesn’t feel like my BH contractions)… nor is that what I remember contractions feeling like when I was in labor with Sweet Pea… It’s just a little awkward to me. But oh well. I only feel this like once or twice a day and it seems to only happen when I get in bed at night. So I. don’t. know. Anywho… just thought I would ask…
And yes, I will mention it to my doctor when I go back for my next appointment.
I think I’ve mentioned this a time or two… But fall is my favorite time of the year. I just had to post these few pictures from the other day. My sweet girl in her autumn attire. :-)
And this is a random one… She wanted to ride the “choo choo rain” at the galleria the other night…
Yesterday, we went to the pumpkin patch. It wasn’t as fun as last year, considering I am extremely pregnant right now. And the wagon ride and “train” ride were not good choices for a pregnant lady. Ha!
These pictures are the only one’s I got with my camera… and then it died. So, the rest art phone pics…
The sun was really bright, so… this isn’t such a great picture. But oh well.
Phone pics…
She was big enough this year to try out the bouncing things. We had to talk her into it. She really didn’t want to get in. She didn’t stay long….
She was begging her daddy to “hold you”. Haha!
She jumped a little bit…
And fell down a time or two…
And made funny faces….
When she was tired of that, we tried to talk her into going on the slide. She wanted to, but was scared. So Daddy went up with her…
And down she goes!!! Y’all should have seen the look of fear on that child’s face as she was going down. It was hilarious, yet pitiful. She did not want to go again. Haha! Maybe next year she will enjoy it…?
And down comes Daddy…
We stopped by the petting zoo to see the animals… She didn’t want to pet any of them. :-) This makes me happy because they stunk really bad!
She loves “choo choo rains”, so we did that.
As we were walking over to the wagon ride to go to the pumpkin patch, she wanted to stop and play on the stage. Other kids were running around and she wanted to join in.
Watching the other kids… I tried to get her to look and smile for the camera, but she wouldn’t…
On our way to the pumpkin patch!
She was checking out everyone around us… I think it’s cute how she has her hands folded.
I got her to smile big for a picture. I love that little face!
We let her pick out her own pumpkin. This was the first one she thought she wanted… but she said it was too big.
Looking hard for one…
Finally, she picked one out and had Daddy carry it back for her…
Sitting with her pumpkin while we waited for the wagon to come back.
Posing with Mommy…
And with Daddy now…
Eating at Chili’s…
And that pretty much sums up our trip to the pumpkin patch. Until next year!! :-)

No, I don't call him Mr. Right, but he IS my Mr. Right and he knows it! He is also my wonderful husband, an outstanding father, a brave officer, a great provider, and the love of my life! He loves me for me and I couldn't ask for a more forgiving, loving, caring, and devoted person to spend the rest of my life with!
And yes, I do call her Sweet Pea on a daily basis. I have called her that since the day she was born. Now that I think about it, I think that was the first thing I called her! Hmmm... Anyway, she is our first and only child (so far)! She was brought into this world on April 14, 2009. She is our pride and joy and our little bundle of love! She sometimes reminds me of myself which is a little scary at times! We thank God every day for blessing us with such a beautiful and healthy baby!
